Jack Petchey Award Winner

We are delighted to nominate Aaron, (Digital Technician Apprentice) for the Jack Petchey Award in recognition of his outstanding achievements and remarkable personal growth over the past year.

Aaron has shown tremendous improvement over the past academic year. His dedication to his studies is reflected in his consistent achievement of Distinction grades. He has developed a focused and disciplined approach to his learning, consistently meeting deadlines and demonstrating a strong work ethic. Moreover, he is proactively considering retaking the Unit 1 exam to aim for an overall Distinction, highlighting his commitment to achieving a higher grade.

Aaron has overcome significant personal challenges and despite a fraught past, he has taken accountability for his actions and has made substantial efforts to turn his life around. He applied for and secured a position as a Digital Engineering Technician with Cadent, demonstrating his determination to build a positive future.

His punctuality and attendance has significantly improved and he has set a positive example for his peers. His tutor has praised his significant engagement in lessons this term and his consistent distinctions. With this, he has shown that he is not only capable of achieving high standards but also of inspiring others through his dedication and hard work.

Given these qualities and his remarkable journey, we believe Aaron is a deserving candidate for the Jack Petchey Award. Recognising his achievements would not only celebrate his success but also encourage him to continue striving for excellence and personal growth.
