The Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician apprenticeship is designed for individuals supporting the planning, design, construction and maintenance of civil engineering projects within the built environment. Apprentices develop essential technical knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours aligned to industry needs.

Delivered through a blend of college-based learning and on-the-job experience, the programme covers core areas such as engineering principles, health and safety, construction methods, surveying, materials, digital and technical drawings, and project coordination. Learning is applied directly in the workplace, ensuring strong links between theory and practice.
