Omar Safdari – Teacher of Technical Subjects
Omar is a dedicated educator and designer with a strong background in architecture and secondary education. He holds a First-Class Honours degree in Architecture from Ravensbourne University London and completed a PGCE in Secondary Education at the University of East London, achieving distinctions in both major academic submissions. His teaching approach combines practical design skills with theoretical understanding, placing a strong emphasis on sustainability, cultural relevance, and real-world application. Passionate about inclusive and engaging education, Omar develops curricula that connect students to the Built Environment through creativity, critical thinking, and community-focused projects.
He has worked closely with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) on educational initiatives and has had his architectural work published on Dezeen. His projects have been recognised with the Sustainability and the People’s Choice Award, reflecting his commitment to environmentally conscious and socially impactful design. Omar aims to inspire students to see the Built Environment not just as a career path, but as a powerful platform for innovation, problem-solving, and meaningful change.
