The Level 3 Landscape Technician apprenticeship is designed for individuals working in landscape and environmental roles who support the planning, design, delivery and maintenance of landscape projects. Apprentices develop the technical knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours required across the landscape sector.
Delivered through a combination of college-based learning and on-the-job experience, the programme covers areas such as landscape design principles, planting and materials, surveying, sustainability, health and safety, and the use of digital and technical drawings. Apprentices apply their learning directly in the workplace, ensuring strong alignment between theory and real projects.
This apprenticeship supports employers in developing skilled landscape technicians and provides learners with clear progression routes into higher-level landscape, environmental or construction-related roles.
