End Point Assessment:

Our industry-led End Point Assessment organisations deliver high-quality, robust assessments across a range of Digital, Construction and Mechanical Engineering level 3 and 4 standards and provide extensive guidance and support to our apprentices and their employers through information sessions.

These cover the requirements of gateway and end point assessment, so all participants know what to expect.

Progression & End Destinations:

Completing an apprenticeship with the Engineering Skills College, will open a pathway into a wider range of careers and enable learners to progress on to the Pearson BTEC Higher National Certificate in Construction and the Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma in Construction.

Apprenticeships are recognised qualifications which have equivalent educational levels.

• Intermediate level 2 is equivalent to GCSE
• Advanced level 3 is equivalent to A level
• Higher levels 4, 5, 6, & 7 are equivalent to a Foundation Degree & Above
• Degree levels 6 & 7 are equivalent to a Bachelor’s or Masters Degree

Progression is also possible to Foundation Degrees, BSc. and BEng degrees in Construction and Civil Engineering which many learners decide to do, with some progressing to MEng and MSc.
