Celebrating Our Apprentices: Finalists for Youthbuild UK (YBUK) Builder of the Year Award 2025

We are always impressed by the dedication and diligence of our apprentices. Each one has successfully navigated a competitive application process and embarked on a journey of professional growth through our outstanding training programmes. It’s a lot to take on, and yet, many have overcome personal barriers along the way.

This year, we are proud to have nominated two exceptional individuals for the prestigious Youth Builder of the Year Award 2025. We are thrilled to share that Tanvi Aytan a Civil Engineering Apprentice from Balfour Beatty plc and Christopher Chai a Level 4 Senior Civil Engineering Apprentice from STRABAG UK, have both been selected as finalists!

The competition was especially fierce this year, making their achievement all the more remarkable. Tanvi and Chris will attend a celebration lunch and awards ceremony at the House of Commons, joining other inspiring finalists and hearing from keynote speakers including Sir John Hayes MP.

We’ll be cheering them on and will keep you updated on their progress.
