ESC Learners Explore Sustainable Construction on Industry Visit
30/04/2026

The day began with a series of insightful presentations delivered by industry sustainability and design teams, providing learners with a practical understanding of how sustainable principles are applied across real-world projects. This was followed by a guided site tour, where learners were able to see these concepts in action and explore modern methods of sustainable construction.
The visit was supported by Saad, Teacher of Built Environment, who accompanied the learners and helped facilitate their engagement throughout the day.
A highlight of the visit was seeing ESC apprentice Mason present to the group, confidently sharing his experiences and demonstrating the progression opportunities available through apprenticeships.
The visit concluded with a group discussion, allowing learners to reflect on their findings and deepen their understanding of sustainable building practices.
This experience forms part of ESC’s commitment to delivering employer-led learning and enriching the personal development of its learners—helping them build confidence, industry awareness, and the skills needed for future careers.
ESC would like to extend its thanks to the employer and their teams for their continued support in providing meaningful, real-world learning opportunities.
