Engineering Skills College is celebrating another successful year of apprenticeship achievement, with outstanding End-Point Assessment results across its Civil Engineering Technician and Digital Engineering Technician programmes.


Outstanding apprenticeship outcomes

Engineering Skills College is delighted to celebrate the achievements of its Level 3 apprentices who completed their End-Point Assessments (EPAs) this year.

An impressive 60% of EPA completers achieved a Distinction, with the remaining apprentices achieving a Pass across our Civil Engineering Technician (CET) and Digital Engineering Technician (DET) programmes.

These results reflect the hard work, commitment and professionalism shown by our apprentices throughout their programmes, supported by employers who continue to invest in developing future engineering talent. Reflecting on this year’s apprenticeship outcomes, Sharna Rolle, Head of Apprenticeships, said:

“Even more importantly, 100% of apprentices who successfully completed their EPA have secured permanent employment, demonstrating the high calibre of our learners and the strength of our employer partnerships.”


Supporting employers through apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are about far more than achieving a qualification. They provide employers with an opportunity to develop skilled engineers who understand their business, contribute to live projects and continue to grow within the organisation after completing their training.

The success of this year’s apprentices demonstrates the value of employer-led apprenticeship programmes and the positive outcomes that can be achieved when employers invest in developing their workforce.
