The Level 3 Digital Engineering Technician apprenticeship is designed for individuals working in technical and digital roles that support modern engineering and construction projects. Apprentices develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to work with digital tools, data and models that underpin today’s built environment.
Delivered through a combination of college-based learning and workplace experience, the programme focuses on areas such as digital design and modelling, CAD and BIM processes, data management, engineering principles, and effective collaboration within project teams. Apprentices apply their learning directly to live projects, strengthening the link between digital theory and practical delivery.
This apprenticeship supports employers in developing digitally capable technicians and provides learners with a strong foundation for progression into higher-level digital, engineering or construction roles.
